Mr. Cui Huiping is a consultant in Jade & Fountain Shanghai office. Mr. Cui is a renowned lawyer in Shanghai, and was one of the Shanghai Municipal government legal counsels, member of the 9th CPPCC of Shanghai, member of the 10th and 11th CPPCC Standing Committee of Shanghai Changning District. Mr. Cui has 15 years' experience in practicing PRC laws, in the areas of real estate development and construction, finance and investment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganization, taxation and commercial laws. Mr. Cui also has extensive experience in international commercial rules and EU commercial laws. Mr. Cui has represented in important litigation lawsuits before the Supreme People's Court of China, the Highest People's Court in Shanghai, Guangdong, Tianjin, etc. Some of these lawsuits have been selected into the cases collection of the Supreme Court of China. The real estate projects handled by Mr. Cui include: Far East International Plaza, Donghai Plaza, Ganglu Plaza, Shi Mao Riverside Park, Renheng Riverside Park, Xuhui Garden. He has also dealt with important financial transactions for ABN AMRO, Deutsche Bank, KBC Bank, and East Asian Bank and acted as the legal advisor of Nike China. During 2005 and 2006, Mr. Cui was retained by a Shanghai real estate company to assist in setting up a hotel in Holland, which is the first 4-star hotel invested by a Chinese company in Europe. Mr. Cui is currently the vice president and legal advisor of the Holland-China Economy and Trade Promotion Organization, and the legal adviser of European China Valley. He provides legal services not only in Chinese law for European enterprises and investors, but for Chinese enterprises and investors who intend to invest in Europe as well.
