Mr. Wang, with an engineering background, has been a licensed patent attorney for many years, specializing in electronic and mechanical patents and other intellectual property fields, and has assisted numerous clients in patent, trademark, copyrights and unfair competition cases.

Mr. Wang represented Chinese and foreign companies in patent application and IP dispute resolution cases; for instance, he represented SBA, a major German company in a high profile IP dispute resolution case relating to Chinese IP infringement and unfair competition; represented Shenzhen Chaojing Pictures Co., Ltd. in copyright disputes.

Mr. Wang also counseled many Chinese companies, state and private, and governmental agencies on IP issues and dispute resolution cases. For instance, he has assisted Chinese clients in setting up internal IP protection procedures and confidentiality bylaws; represented clients in patent application and objection proceedings and dispute resolutions; provided legal guidance for technology development and transfer; formulated trademark and branding strategies and trade secret management manuals; and he has assisted clients'research and development projects to ensure the implementation of sensible IP strategies.

Mr. Wang has published many articles on Chinese IP law and practice issues in national and Shanghai journals and newspapers.
