Jeff Yao is a partner of Jade & Fountain PRC Lawyers. Jeff specializes in general corporate matters and restructuring including merger and acquisition, bankruptcy liquidation, and recapitalizations, foreign direct investment, as well as commercial litigation and arbitration.

Jeff is experienced in handling most kinds of foreign investment projects, including FIE establishments, merger and acquisition, restructuring of foreign invested enterprises and State-owned enterprises as well, and was actively involved in media and IT related services including restructuring of famous domestic portal, MBO of the most famous sports newspaper in China and launching of several foreign magazines and websites. Jeff is also handling labor law cases and commercial litigations and arbitrations.

Jeff was born and grew up in Shanghai and holds a Chinese law degree. Before joining Jade & Fountain, Jeff used to work with leading foreign and local firms as well.
