David Chen is a senior partner of Jade & Fountain PRC Lawyers. David's practice areas include corporate restructuring, IPO, merge and acquisition, foreign direct investment, syndicated loan, overseas financing, shareholder's interest protection, real estate, e-commerce and etc.
David is the member of numerous governmental organizations, including the 9th Session of Shanghai Youth Federation, the 11th session of Changning District Political Consultative Conference, the 14th, 15th and 16th Session of Changning District People's Congress and the 16th Session of the Standing Committee of Changning District People' s Congress. David is also the director of the Law Society on E-Commerce and Information Network under Shanghai Lawyers Association, who is the pioneer of legal documents regulating online information service in Shanghai.
David has successfully handled the following cases: Each-Net, non-litigation legal affairs; Lujiazui Sub-branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, series of loan disputes; CITIC (China) Investment Co., Ltd., series of non-litigation legal affairs; Beida Jade Bird Group, equity liquidation and transfer; Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust, legal affairs; Hong Kong Jiasheng Company, equity transfer; Road Show Holdings Limited, equity acquisition; Hong Kong Chongze Technology Investment Co., Ltd., merger and acquisition; Ningbo Development Trust and Investment Company, liquidation legal affairs.
David is the legal advisor of numerous corporations as well as governmental and community entities, including Shanghai Changning District People's Government, CITIC (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Each-Net and Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd., and provides the clients with comprehensive and forward-seeing legal advises.
