Pengfei (Henry) Su is a partner of Jade & Fountain based in Shanghai. His main practice areas are general corporate and commercial, including foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate restructuring, corporate finance and other general corporate matters. He also has extensive experience in advising clients on legal matters concerning corporate operations, such as commercial contracts, corporate compliance, and employment-related matters.
Mr. Su has advised many multinational companies in the establishment, acquisition and restructuring of their China subsidiaries. He has represented a number of China-based companies in their cross-border transactional activities, such as pre-IPO restructuring, overseas public offering, reverse merger and private equity financing. The industries he has been involved in include automobile components, business services, food and beverage, chemicals, electrical, machinery, medical equipment, not-for-profit, pharmaceutical, sports and TMT.
Prior to joining J&F, Mr. Su was practicing as a lawyer for over a decade, working for several major international law firms and domestic law firms in China. He is admitted to the bars of the PRC and the state of Minnesota (US).
